Arriving at a red light on PCH and Poinsettia in Carlsbad we noticed a bicyclist being attended to by a paramedic in which may or may not have been hit by a car or had just crashed on his own.
In line at the Rite Aid counter we came upon this Drink-A-Lyzer alcohol test kit with a 99.7% accuracy with it’s slogan saying “Don’t drive drunk”, but if you do be sure to buy this kit for $5.29 and you can find out if your ok to drive or not.
How does it work? There website here states the following:
1. Take the plastic off both ends of the test device.
2. Blow into the device for 10 seconds, repeat 3 times for a total of 30 seconds of forceful breath.
3. After two minutes, view the window and note and color change in the yellow crystals.
Car Burglar Targeting Surfers
40-year old Curt Simnitt was arrested Saturday in a La Mesa motel from burglaries from August to December. Curt was linked to incidents at Ocean and Pacific Beach where he would target surfers who would hide there keys before going surfing. Items found in Curt’s posession included skateboards, shoes, wetsuits, and surfboards.
