Garrett “GMAC” McNamara – GOES BIG, GOES GREEN, SAVING OUR OCEANS & OUR SKIN
SURF EXPO 2011 – SEPT. 8, 9, 10
Coming off of a busy summer which featured his epic waves in the greatest Cloudbreak swell, touring with WaveJet Eco Friendly Board, East Coast stops through Hurricane Irene for Surfers Healing and the NYC Sea Paddle for Autism, Garrett drops in on Surf Expo 2011.
This stop is especially important to Garrett as he is excited to unveil his newly released Chemical Free Sunscreen Line, RAW ELEMENTS USA. This high performance sunscreen meets all the demands of the most extreme water athletes, yet is gentle enough for use in infant care – all delivered in a chemical free, eco safe solution. The line has recently received the coveted #1 ranking for safety and efficacy by The Environmental Working Group and is the preferred sunscreen of The United States Lifesaving Association. RAW ELEMENTS USA ECO FORMULA 30+ and ECO STICK 30+ are both very water resistant, floating tubes and ECO STICK 30+ can even be applied to wet skin or under water.
“Having been involved throughout the development, I am so excited for the official launch of RAW ELEMENTS USA. It is truly going to take sun care to the next level and I am honored to be a part of it.” McNamara proudly states. “I hardly ever used sunscreen and was always scared to put it on my children because of fear of all the chemicals, I just took ‘the burn’. I have finally partnered up with a chemical free sunscreen that can keep up with me and I can stand behind. I have tested this stuff all over the world, in the most extreme conditions mother nature has to offer. The performance is unreal. Even after long sessions and giant wave poundings it doesn’t move and never stings my eyes.” says GMAC.
Please come down to meet the team at the RAW ELEMENTS USA booth at Surf Expo and check out the sunscreen in action in the water tank. Garrett will be sharing his stories and experiences at the booth for an hour at 12:30pm on Thursday Sept. 8, Friday Sept. 9 and Saturday Sept. 10.
