Kolohe Andino – May Issue Of Surfing Magazine

At first glance we thought this was Kolohe pulling into a tube from Hawaii this season, but then watching the video clip here at Surfing Magazine it’s looking more like HT’s. Not many Californians can get a wave in Hawaii this good or a tube this big. On that note that is why we we’re so blown away when we first saw this thinking Kolohe got a wave that big in Hawaii (something only Tom Curren has frequently pulled off). Either way we are stoked for Kolohe nabbing another cover!

Slater Surfs The Lane 18 Years Later

Kelly made his showing this morning at The Lane as he hasn’t surfed here in over 18 years. We are guessing he hasn’t missed it!

A few other surfers that we’re out in the line up

Adriano DeSouza

Darryl “Flea” Virostko (we asked Flea, “so what has Kelly have to say?” “That last wave he took he said that was his best wave he has ever had here”. “Do you want a shot of you and him together?” “It’s alright, I already got my shot of him next to me getting 2nd place to my 1st at Mavericks.” That is Flea’s claim to fame as he reminded us of him beating Kelly 3 times in one day at the Mav’s comp.)

Kolohe Andino Signs With FCS

FCS is pleased to announce the signing of USA surfing phenomenon Kolohe Andino to an exclusive deal that will see him riding Genuine FCS fins and systems, and FCS boardbags and leashes for the next 5 years.

On a side note we have a strong feeling Kolohe will be surfing in the Hurley Pro next week knowing he is once again surfing.

Kolohe Andino Injured

On Thursday Kolohe was surfing Riviera in San Clemente where he flew out in the flats on a wave and has injured his foot. Kolohe is currently in 17th place on the WQS (one world rankings) and 26th on the WCT. Kolohe will be out of the water for up to 10 weeks in which he will be missing the 6* Prime Mr. Price Pro in Balito as well as the 6* in Jeffreys Bay both in South Africa and the 6* Prime Nike US Open in Huntington Beach. He is hoping to be well by the Hurley Pro WCT at Lowers which begins September 16th.

Astrodeck Releases 949 Kolohe Andino Pad

949 Kolohe Black $40.00

Sunday At Lowers

Jeremy Carter excited as he is one of the San Clemente surfers invited into the trials for the Nike Lowers Pro

Mike Parsons getting a few waves for himself after coaching Kolohe for around 3 hours (yes, Nike does pay Snips to wear there product as well as getting paid by Kolohe as his full time coach)

Kalani David was recently seen on TMZ and when we asked him what was he thinking once the cameraman began filming him at LAX, his response, “I thought it was some kind of joke”

Say cheese

Don’t hit us
