ASP rated surfer Charles Martin from Guadaloupe in the Caribbean who is currently ranked 119th on the world tour has just been dropped from his main clothing sponsor Nike.
Charles was arrested in the UK when he and his friends had been attacked at a party and once Charles came back to his hotel room and noticed one of his friends missing he then went back out armed with a serrated knife. Charles was then attacked (again) from a mob group ranging from 10 to 15 people, but he stated the knife stayed in his pocket during this attack. Once back to the hotel he was met by the local police.
Local sheriff Andrew Berry stated Charles would not face any jail time, but will have to pay a fine of $800USD along with unpaid community work
