Dane Reynolds No Longer On WCT – 2012 ASP Lineup

Dane you will be for surely missed! – Oh wait! Will Dane Reynolds get the injury wild card as 2 get handed out. Remember Dane injured himself in Japan, but will Dane take it or not? Yadin Nicol’s may be the other one that will get it. Who decides? The surfers vote.

Actor Jonny Weston Lands Lead Role As Jay Moriarty – Of Men And Mavericks

Jonny Weston get’s the lead role in the movie “Of Men and Mavericks” playing Jay Moriarty. Here was the casting criteria that the actor had to be:

Character Description:
An accomplished surfer & skateboarder, Jay is the very spirit of boyhood – brimming with self-confidence and purity. Drawn to the deadly winter waves at Mavericks, Jay trains relentlessly under the tutelage of mentor Frosty Hesson. Like an unwavering beacon of light, Jay is an eternal optimist… all-the-while silently struggling under the weight of an absent father and alcoholic mother. Surfing and skateboarding skills are a huge plus!

This is a Screen Actors Guild project, but you don’t have to be a SAG member to apply.
