“Back in 2011, having been with Quik for eight years, Dane re-signed for another six years up until 2017, on a $3m+ a year deal.” – Stab Mag
Now fast forward the time (file claimed in 2015) Dane Reynolds was owed $3,599,381.75
…and Craig Anderson was owed $1,825,000.00
Major/critical vendors of the debtors (over $100k) from Quiksilver – we’re guessing what Dane Reynolds and Rob Dyrdek we’re owed is a lot more then $100K
Update – Wednesday March 2:

Big wave surfing legend Brock Little has passed away from battling cancer. Brock who was notorious for paddling into large waves in the late 80’s and early 90’s when he rode for surf brands Gotcha, HIC and Rip Curl.
Now the blood sucking media (Stab, Magicseaweed, Surf Europe, among all pro surfers and their instagram) is having a go with the most famous wave ever ridden by Brock Little taken by former assistant photo editor at Surfing magazine Scott Winer. Scott took the photo from the rocks down below using a 300mm lens – manual focus. Jeff Hall from Aframe media (now owned by Surfline?) is probably wishing he had a attorney right now, but then again how are you really going to “win” against these overseas publications?

In other Shaun White news he was not invited to this years X-Games. “Yeah, I had some constructive criticism, I guess. It wasn’t really criticism. It was more public information.” – NY TIMES
The current Waimea Bay buoys are reading 8.2ft at 18seconds (up from this morning 6.9 at 12) – This morning ‘The Eddie’ got called off due to the lack of swell to hit the bay! Their are currently 4 guy’s in the water right now surfing.
The Eddie Aikau surf contest held at Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu is now on a yellow alert. Many locals in Hawaii we’re telling us that they thought the Eddie would not run this year due to money issues with Quiksilver (going bankrupt).
